Are you eligible for NDIS funding for our respite accommodation?
There are a number of factors that determine whether you are eligible for respite support under the NDIS. You may be eligible for NDIS respite funding if you:
are under the age of 65 years old
are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen who is a Protected Special Category visa holder
have a permanent or significant disability that impacts your everyday life and you require assistance from Carers
require equipment or assistive technology
Respite care is generally funded for up to 14 days at a time. Longer periods, such as medium-term respite accommodation may require a different type of funding.

At Orange Respite Service (ORS), we want you to feel comfortable and aware of the costs associated with your respite stay at Lakeview Cottage. The cost of your respite accommodation is entirely in accordance with the NDIS pricing arrangements and pricing limits. ORS is NDIS funded, meaning if you are eligible for respite care in your NDIS package you won't need to pay out of your own pocket; the NDIS take care of the costs on your behalf. Keep in mind that respite funding will vary depending on whether you receive or require 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 care.
Please note: should you be a private paying client and are not approved by the NDIS for respite funding, you are still welcome to stay at our Lakeview Cottage for respite care. Please contact Orange Respite Service for further information on the costs involved during your stay.
